The access and use of the application COSMOTE Live on Screen is governed by the following terms, which the user of the application is required to read carefully and proceed with the use of the options only if they are fully understandable, acceptable and fully compliable. The Customer Care Service of Cosmote through COSMOTE Live on Screen is provided for free within Greece. In Roaming cases, the user will be charged according to the current pricelist for Roaming.
The application of COSMOTE Live on Screen is used by authorized employees of the Customer Care Service of Cosmote, in order to meet all the demands of the subscribers related with the settings of compatible mobile blackberry devices or Windows Mobile devices or Android devices or iOS (iPad) or Symbian devices or related with the settings of PC/MAC computers and for some of the previous devices the use might be possible according to their technical characteristics (mobile phone platform or computer operating system). When using the application of COSMOTE Live on Screen an authorized employee of the Customer Care Service of COSMOTE will have a remote access on the smart phone or the user’s computer in order to process the requests in accordance with the user’s instructions. The remote access to the computer or the mobile phone of the user is provided via Internet, which the user should maintain in order to be able to be served through the application of COSMOTE Live on Screen.
Furthermore, through the application, user is enabled to transmit video and audio stream, directly to the computer screen of the representative of Fixed & Mobile Customer Services Division of OTE Group, through the camera of his smartphone or tablet (Android / iOS), in order to demonstrate the specific problem faced and achieve the most direct solution. Note that in the case of use of this functionality from the user of the application, COSMOTE stores the video and the sound transmitted by the user of the application only for the strictly necessary time required to serve the user of the application, which does not exceed one month. The relevant video and audio files are not used for purposes other than the services provided to users.
The user should keep copies of all the documents saved in the computer or the mobile phone before using the application, as well as install all the necessary antivirus software. COSMOTE is not responsible for any loss of the user’s device, as well as on the computer or the saved files due to no use or improper use of an antivirus software.
In order to access the application of COSMOTE Live on Screen the use of personal passwords are required, which are available to the user verbally or electronically. These passwords are strictly personal and should not be acknowledged to any third party. COSMOTE is not liable for misuse of the service or use of the service without first contacting the employee of the Fixed & Mobile Customer Services Division of OTE Group and disclosure of the personal password.
COSMOTE has taken all necessary measures for the security and confidentiality of both your connection and data saved on your device during your contact with the employee of the Fixed & Mobile Customer Services Division of OTE Group and user of the application of COSMOTE Live on Screen, however, will not be liable for any loss, deletion, alteration or other unlawful interference with files saved on your mobile device or PC.
The user of the application must be located in front of the device (mobile phone or computer) throughout the duration that the employee of the Fixed & Mobile Customer Services Division of OTE Group will remotely access your computer or mobile phone and mobile device and will execute all the agreed with the user tasks. If removed from the user’s computer or mobile phone must inform the employee of the Customer Services and terminate the remote access of the employee from the computer or mobile phone of the user.
To ensure the reliability of your communication with the Fixed & Mobile Customer Services Division of OTE Group, any information on access and movement of the employee serving your requests through the application COSMOTE Live on Screen (for example the start and ending of the communication, etc.) will be recorded and maintained by COSMOTE for a period of one year, except video and audio broadcast files transmitted by the user application to the screen of employee's computer, for which applies the same as mentioned above.
